Stat Breakdown: Dat Boy Shotz

Kings Guard’s newest addition, Dat Boy Shotz, has shown in his two seasons that he has plenty to offer.

The power forward spent last season with Hawks Talon GC and was previously with Blazer5 Gaming for the inaugural 2K League season.

In both years, Shotz has showcased his knack for being a force to be reckoned with on the sticks.

With Blazer5, he finished his rookie season averaging 19.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals per contest. This landed him in the top 10 of scoring average in the league and top 10 in rebounding amongst power forwards.

Following a strong first season, Hawks Talon GC used the first overall pick in the 2018 2K League Expansion Draft to select Dat Boy Shotz.

The No. 1 pick put up another standout year for Atlanta, posting averages of 16.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.2 steals across 12 regular season games.

Shotz also finished at No. 13 in the first annual 2K League #Glitchy25 list – ranking some of the most talented players across the League.

The California native was reunited with his home state as he joined Kings Guard Gaming in a trade, along with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 Draft. Shotz is set to form a formidable frontcourt pairing alongside Yusuf_Scarbz heading into the third season for KGG.
