Kings Guard Meets Local Media

Before the NBA 2K League’s inaugural tournament, Kings Guard invited local media in for an exclusive look at their gaming studio on Wednesday.

Beginning with an interview panel, featuring ABC 10, CBS Sacramento and The Sacramento Bee, players gathered to share stories and insights about their gaming tactics for the upcoming season.

Afterward, the team took to the studio for a 3-on-3 round of 2K competition.

As the training buzzer sounded, each player was interviewed by various outlets sharing their personal journey to the NBA 2K Draft and subsequent arrival in Sacramento.

“The reality still hasn’t really sunk in yet,” reflected Mootyy as he tried to summarize his dream-come-true.

A noticeable takeaway from the event was the overall positive vibe exhibited by the team, as players highlighted the chemistry they’d formed since arriving in Northern California just two weeks earlier.

“We’re bonding together well,” said ColeWorld2K. “We’re getting our chemistry down and we’re looking to bring back some hardware to Sacramento.”

Tune-in to Kings Guard’s first game on Tuesday, May 1 at 3 p.m. PT on Twitch.tv/NBA2KLeague.
