Kings Guard Gaming Players Earn League-Wide Recognition in 2020 NBA 2K League Awards

Today, during the NBA 2K League Finals, Kings Guard Gaming veteran Yusuf “Yusuf_Scarbz” Abdulla and rookie Rafel “Crush” Davis received top honors for their efforts during the 2020 NBA 2K League season.

In his third season in the NBA 2K League, Yusuf_Scarbz averaged 9.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 blocks. With these stats, Yusuf_Scarbz was named to the 2020 All-NBA 2K League Second Team and became the first NBA 2K League player to win back-to-back All-Defensive Teamdesignation, following his 2019 All-Defensive Team honors.

“It is an honor to become the very first NBA 2K League player to be named to the All-Defensive Team in consecutive years,” said Kings Guard Gaming veteran forward Yusuf “Yusuf_Scarbz” Abdulla. “And named to the All-NBA 2K League Second Team? I am speechless and humbled. Hard work and dedication truly pay off.”

In his first year in the league, Crush, the overall third pick of the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft, averaged 9.5 points, 1.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 3.0 steals. Crush joins Yusuf_Scarbz on both the 2020 All-NBA 2K League Second Team and 2020 All-Defensive Team. Adding to his list of accomplishments, Crush was also named to the 2020 All-Rookie Team and was a finalist for the 2020 Defensive Player of the Year.

Kings Guard Gaming ended the 2020 season tied for fifth place in the 2020 NBA 2K League Playoffs and a regular-season record of 11-5. From successful tournament runs, the team accrued a total of $107,100 in prize money. The 2020 Kings Guard Gaming team was led by Head Coach DJ “DLAY2K” Layton and consisted of rookie players Rafel “Crush” Davis, guard Matthew “Bash” Robles and guard Hayden “Nasthetic” Caudle, as well as veteran players shooting guard Waseem “Seemo” Talbert, center/forward Connor “Dat Boy Shotz” Rodrigues and forward/center Yusuf “Yusuf_Scarbz” Abdulla
