Kings Guard Gaming Announces 2019 Regular Season Schedule

Kings Guard Gaming will tip-off their second NBA 2K season with a back-to-back set of games as part of “The Tipoff” Tournament – taking on Heat Check Gaming on Wednesday, April 3 at 6 p.m. PST and 76ers GC immediately following at 7 p.m. PST. All competitions will take place at the NBA 2K League Studio Powered by Intel in Long Island City, New York and every game is broadcast live on Twitch.com/NBA2KLeague.
During the season, the 16 regular-season matchups will foster new rivalries and determine playoff seeding. Three tournaments staggered throughout the season provide peaks of drama as teams compete for prize pools and one guaranteed spot in the playoffs for the winner of the final tournament.
Seeding and match-ups for the in-season tournaments – The Turn (May 9-12) and The Ticket (June 13-15) – will be determined by a team’s record during the weeks of regular-season games preceding each tournament.

On March 5, Kings Guard drafted Michael “Bp” Diaz, Waseem “BallLikeSeem” Talbert, Jonathan “Roman” Roman, Yusuf “Yusuf_Scarbz” Abdulla and Zachary “Zakyy610” Saruba to join veteran player Jhade “WorthingColt” Black. The team will be led by Head Coach DJ “TTPLOADING” Layton who was a former college player, high school coach and member of the competitive 2K community, previously qualifying for the Road to the All-Star Game Tournament on NBA 2K18.
Kings Guard will practice at the world’s first dedicated esports training facility and content studio inside Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center, which features a broadcast center, gamer lounge and a full-service music recording studio.
