Kings Guard Gaming Acquires MVP, DPOY and All-Star Center “OneWildWalnut” in Off-Season Trade with 76ers GC

Kings Guard Gaming Sends “Yusuf Scarbz” to 76ers GC

Today, Kings Guard Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced that it has acquired the rights to veteran center Dayne “OneWildWalnut” Downey via a trade with 76ers GC, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers. In exchange, Kings Guard Gaming will send Yusuf “Yusuf Scarbz” Abdulla to 76ers GC.

Former MVP, DPOY, All-Star and 4-year veteran center OneWildWalnut from Los Angeles, CA, will be reunited with point guard “Mama Im Dat Man” and join small forward “Crush,” providing the Kings with a strong veteran core. During the 2021 regular season, OneWildWalnut averaged 18.9 points, 2.4 assists, 2.0 blocks, 10.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 28 total matchups. In addition, he led the 2K League in blocks (55) and points in the paint per game (17.9).

Following the conclusion of the 2018 NBA 2K League Regular Season, OneWildWalnut was awarded both the Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

As a member of Kings Guard Gaming, veteran power forward Yusuf Scarbz averaged 11.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.3 blocks in 28 matchups during the 2021 regular season. The Sacramento Kings organization thanks Yusuf for his contributions to the team.
