Kings Guard Gaming Players Bp and Yusuf_Scarbz Named Recipients of 2019 NBA 2K League Award Honors

— Yusuf “Yusuf_Scarbz” Abdulla Named to All-Defensive Team —Sacramento, Calif. – As the 2019 NBA 2K League season nears the end with playoffs, Kings Guard Gaming’s Michael “Bp” Diaz and Yusuf “Yusuf_Scarbz” Abdulla were recognized by fans, team managers, league officials, and media for their contributions during the league’s second season. Bp was named to the NBA 2K League’s All-Rookie Team as Yusuf_Scarbz was named to the All-Defensive NBA 2K League Team.

Rookie guard Bp averaged 19.3 points, 7.9 assists and 1.1 rebounds in regular season play. In a historic performance against Pacers Gaming, Bp led all scoring with 41 points, tying the previous NBA 2K League record for most points in a single game and also set the record for most three pointers in an NBA 2K League game with 11 made three pointers – earning him the title of @IntelGaming Player of the Game. Bp then broke the NBA 2K League record for most points in a single game against Jazz Gaming, ending the game with 46 total points. He was one of five 2019 Intel Performance NBA 2K League MVP finalists.

In his second season in the NBA 2K League, veteran power forward “Yusuf_Scarbz” averaged 8.9 points, 1.7 blocks (second highest in the league) and 3.0 defensive rebounds per game during the regular season for Kings Guard Gaming.

For the 2019 season, Kings Guard Gaming finished with a regular-season record of 10-6, which earned them the fifth seed in the 2019 NBA 2K League Playoffs. On Thursday, July 25, Kings Guard Gaming made its first-ever playoff debut, falling to the fourth-seeded T-Wolves Gaming, the official 2K League team of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the best-of-three series.
